I am watching others
It's best that I look at people and wonder why others are looking at me and discussing me and even making negative comments. But you know for yourself. Of course, it is necessary to take into account that I am already a bit outdated and I most likely also have outdated definitions about society.
We know the audience from stories about theater performances. Most likely, we also know viewers of TV programs, viewers of video spots, and the list goes on and on. These are all passive spectators or watchers who do not participate in the performance. But they can later or during the performance, discuss the play and actually express their opinion about the play and the actors and the characters portrayed or played. In short, these are those who, according to the old definitions, are understood as spectators or watchers. Maybe I forgot to mention some special feature such as the boss-viewer of the work of his subordinates.
Of course, in recent times, the viewer of reality shows has also appeared. And maybe it is precisely in these reality shows or broadcasts that this reality show has spread into our everyday life. Thus, this off-stage show has become interesting for the wider masses to observe and discuss the actors of reality shows or shows on the road, in residential houses and commercial establishments. And of course, this different private part, not only the business part, of our everyday life has become the object of mass viewing and evaluation.
We have to find someone to blame for modern or perhaps even prehistoric interest in other people. It is also necessary to find the culprit for negative remarks and judgments on the road. For us humans, at least it seems, it is difficult to understand the difference or heterogeneity of people and their freedom.
These observations go step by step from observations about clothing, hairstyle, in short, external appearance, all the way to the actions and behavior of other people, which actually do not concern us at all, or rather they do not concern us at all. None of these people-actors did anything to the so-called viewers and debaters and evaluators of others.
Maybe reality shows are not at all to blame for this phenomenon of modern viewers. Perhaps the plagiarizing nature of these viewers is to blame for these off-stage actions. Maybe the viewers simply want to put someone on a reality show and make them a player in that show without his or her consent, or they want to have fun with others without of their own divine choice. And maybe also because these viewers and also the authors of these road shows are not capable of realizing a reality show according to established criteria and standards on stages and in studios.
Often, these spectators or watchers do not say anything positive, but the observer or actor is often the target of their ridicule, scorn or general criticism. And it is quite possible that the spectators-critics, with such actions, empty private and business premises and also the roads, and at the end of such off-stage performances, they become kings, rulers or gods of them. Perhaps through their often unprofessional viewer's prism, viewers with negative observations try to arrange the whole world and society to their liking. And, of course, such non-actor spectators and judges make the involuntary actor the victim of a transformation of his own being or identity according to the spectator's or watcher's standards.
