Kleptomania in our society

People are becoming more and more sympathetic to various problems of fellow human beings, including illnesses. Thus, it appears in official institutions that are supposed to act according to the Criminal Code that the so-called perpetrators of criminal acts are simply recognized as patients who are not responsible for their committed crimes.

One of such errors or mistakes in labeling people as criminals who steal or illegally take people's property is also the serious disease of kleptomania. Otherwise, all experts in this field describe it as a tendency to appropriate other people's things that are not related to the essential need for this thing, but it is just an instinctive tendency to acquire other people's things. Many experts note that such kleptomaniacs and kleptomaniacs do know the feeling of guilt, or are not without a feeling of shame and/or guilt. Very often, these kleptomaniacs and kleptomaniacs also accumulate or store such taken other people's things, or do not consume or use them and in fact did not need these things.

Kleptomania has no cure and is easily treated with psycho-social therapy. Victims of kleptomania are usually only advised to seek psycho-social self-help, because crime exists in every society and we should accept society with this segment as a normal fact of life. We should also come to terms with the fact of life that in our society there are of course also patients who are not responsible for their criminal acts, such as theft or unlawful taking of someone else's property, despite the legal and even constitutionally protected property rights to our property.

There is a little lack of information on whether kleptomaniacs also enjoy the damage they have caused and the pain of the injured party when they lose their property, which they cause to the so-called injured parties. The thin ice of the established disease of kleptomania is naturally broken by the emotions of the injured party. We like to console ourselves that material goods are replaceable, but we must also be aware of the need for additional financial resources to replace what has been taken.

Whether kleptomania is also the need to take over someone else's husband or wife or intimate partner has not yet been sufficiently discussed. The same applies to the achievements of others and even their identity. However, we can certainly detect such phenomena in society. Some are simply tempted by everything foreign; tangible and intangible, material and immaterial. And too often, people in their everyday lives simply have a problem with using only their own and disposing of only their own, regardless of their own material situation, which is increasingly simply an individual perception or judgment, which can also be contradictory to the actual situation. The utopia or fog of protecting personal property, also in the sense of disposing of one's property, is most likely spreading to other non-material areas. It is also very appropriate to debate whether kleptomaniac obsession with a person also leads to taking over the entire essence of that person or even cloning into that person. In this case, the original person can also become redundant and the need to remove the original arises.

The concept of a pathological kleptomaniac state can thus be extended to entire segments of our society, and the kleptomaniac actually becomes a greater victim-patient than the injured party. In the future, the injured party or simply the victims of kleptomania, who still exist, will probably have to get used to tolerance towards kleptomaniacs and accept them as a normal, socially present segment of the human population. "Everything tempts me", as the motto of a life force or drive, was and is still present in our everyday lives. Dealing with kleptomania and the consequences of such actions will most likely also be an instruction or guide for reactions and actions in everyday life for other non-kleptomaniac people.
