End of special Covid-19 treatment
This year, many countries decided to treat the infection with Covid-19 the same as other respiratory infections. The Government of the Republic of Slovenia has set April 1, 2023 as the end date of the special treatment of the Covid-19 infection. With this, of course, SMS notification of test results for Covid-19 will be discontinued as of May 6. On March 31, the OstaniZdrav application stopped working. Tests for self-testing for infection with Covid-19 will be available in pharmacies until June 24, 2023. Only recommendations for visitors to homes for the elderly and other social welfare institutions remain in force.
