The smell of war and tighter control

 The European Union (EU) condemned the incursion of Russian military units into the territory of Ukraine in 2022 and thereby earned the attention of the Russian intelligence services, as so-called Russian spies are often discovered in the territory of the EU in recent times. 

Increased control or control of the movement of the population and increased control over the social contacts of the population in the EU area or better restrictions on movement and personal contacts have already been known since 2020, which was marked by the Covid-19 epidemic and is expected to end this year, or in 2023. 

We have also known for a long time the lax action of the police in the event of property disturbance. The property right is clearly defined as the express right to manage of one's real estate. And as property rights are defined, nobody should use areas and buildings owned by others without the consent of the owners. 

Perhaps it is precisely because of the "smell of war" in Ukraine, Slovenia has announced greater control over the ownership of buildings and land and correct entries in the land register. 

But I hope that this also means greater control over the use of buildings and land. In this way, the owners may finally get rid of fake maintenance workers, unannounced and unsolicited maintenance workers and uninvited users of our areas. 

Of course, I mean and wish that the police will take immediate and stricter action in case of so-called disturbance of property and all burglaries in residential and non-residential buildings. 

The number of illegal migrants found within the territory of Slovenia increased last year (see: https://mydarjapesko.blogspot.com/2022/09/ilegalno-v-slovenijo.html). The reason why someone decides to stay in Slovenia illegally can also be all kinds of criminal activities, from illegal work to burglaries or hacker attacks. Espionage can also be a reason for illegal stay. In any case, there is a greater possibility of such actions among that part of the population that illegally crosses the border and illegally or illegally resides in Slovenia and also most likely illegally uses foreign land and buildings.
